Membership Information



Membership in Cedar Valley Rocks & Minerals Society is open to anyone interested in any aspect of studying rocks, minerals, fossils, gems, or the lapidary arts. Members are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings, which feature a rock-related program, refreshments with social time, and a short business meeting from September through May (except December). Families take turns providing refreshments for the meetings. The December meeting is a holiday party, usually a potluck with social time. June, July and August meetings are potlucks with an activity.

Each family receives 10 newsletters and a membership directory each year. The club also sponsors field trips and sometimes classes.

Family membership is $15 per year.
